*giveaway ended* Chobani Greek Yogurt Giveaway!

by Sally on August 13, 2012 · 303 comments

*Giveaway has ended.

Hi friends!  As a follow up from my Silpat giveaway last month, I’d like to host another giveaway for you today.

Chobani Greek Yogurt… my kitchen’s secret weapon ;)

Secret weapon?  Yep.  You read that correctly. I like to call my favorite protein-packed greek yogurt a “secret weapon” in my recipes.  Why?

Because Chobani lends the creamiest texture to my

White Chocolate Chip Mango Banana Bread

an unbelievable softness in my  Baked Banana Bread Donuts

and make my Strawberry Frosted Donuts super duper moist.

Chobani Black Cherry 0% Yogurt packs a HUGE protein punch in my Chocolate Covered Cherry Protein Smoothie

It replaces oil in my Skinny Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies, slashing calories left and right…

& Chobani Mango is the perfect bed for my Toasted Coconut Tropical Granola.

I honestly do not think there is a more perfect substitution for butter, oil, or full-fat sour cream in my baked goods than Chobani greek yogurt.  This yogurt is SO versatile.

This conversion chart often helps me out when I’m looking to healthify my recipes, both sweet and savory:

{source: Chobani}

I was lucky enough to have Chobani send me 6 of their 16 oz Blended Yogurts a few weeks ago: Mango, Vanilla Chocolate Chunk (a new flavor!), Peach, Blueberry, Black Cherry, and Pineapple.

When they contacted me, I think I almost fell off my chair. And when they told me I could host a giveaway for my readers, I nearly fell off again.  Chobani… I love you.

So today, Chobani and I are happy to give away 6 of their 16 oz blended flavors to YOU!

Chobani will send you the yogurts in a boxed freezer bag, cold and ready to be enjoyed. :)

Comment below and have a chance to win 6 Chobani’s!

1) For an entry, tell me your favorite way to enjoy Chobani greek yogurt!

2) For additional entries (leave a seperate comment for each):

I’ve never baked with Chobani, but I’d love to win & try !

Paula C. August 13, 2012 at 10:37 pm

I haven’t used Greek yogurt in cooking much yet, but I certainly enjoy eating it for lunch.

Brittany (TeTe's Treats) August 13, 2012 at 10:38 pm

I love using greek yogurt in recipes makes me feel all that much better when I’m eating my sweet desserts my favorite recipe to use it in is probably brownies. My boyfriend is a little weird so if he knows I used greek yogurt in a recipe he says it will be gross and he won’t eat it. Well little does he know most the brownies he eats have greek yogurt in them (shhh). He always talks about how good they taste I will never tell him it’s in there cause then he won’t eat them hehe.

Sally August 13, 2012 at 10:47 pm

my bf is the same way! I secretly stuff greek yogurt into everything… ;)

molly August 13, 2012 at 10:39 pm

I have just started to use Greek Yogurt in my cooking and baking but so happy for the change! My hubby and I are trying to eat healthier but it’s hard when I love to bake. To know that I can use Chobani in my sweets is having my cake and eating it too!

I LOVE YOGURT & WOULD LOVE TO TRY THIS KIND! (: AND EXPERIMENT WITH BAKING.

Melissa Thompson August 13, 2012 at 10:51 pm

I love to substitute Chobani for anything that calls for sour cream and mayo. I also LOVE to use it in my protein shakes and baking my mini protein muffins/cup cakes. I’m all about sneaking in extra protein everywhere I can and the many different choices Chobani offers helps me do just that!!! I’d be thrilled to win this, especially to try that new Vanilla Chocolate Chunk flavor….YUM!!!

Sally August 13, 2012 at 11:01 pm

The vanilla chocolate chunk seriously tastes like ICE CREAM. It’s amazing, Melissa! :)

Hayley August 13, 2012 at 10:53 pm

Connie Sue! August 13, 2012 at 11:37 pm

We LOVE Chobani!!! It is a Staple in our refrigerator. When I read that eating Greek Yogurt each night helped Reduce Belly Fat, especially in men, I purchased Chobani. Each night, instead of a bowl of icecream, I fix my hubby a Chobani treat. Treat menus include: frozen lil’ Chobani containers right outta the freezer, Smoothies with fresh produce ( sometimes fruit, sometimes Veggie for a tangy treat ), Parfaits with home-made Chobani Yogurt Nutty-Fruit Granola, or a quickie Mug Cake made in the micro … The Results?? My hubby genuinely did lose All of his belly fat – the heart attack fat! – and it was not only Easy, but a Healthy Delicious that has made a difference, noticeably! I have a special diet due to a paralyzed stomach and Chobani is My Mainstay!!! I start each day with a Chobani Smoothie because it contains No Fat and the purity of the ingredients is second to none. My delicate tummy Knows so I tell Everyone about Chobani!! Made a believer out of several friends and family members who now swear by it themselves! Would be quite a treat to actually Win some … everyone already thinks I’m a Chobani Spokeswoman!! Thanks for the Fun and Your Baking Addiction, Sweet Sally – We Love You!! KEEP SHINING & BAKING!

Even though I can’t enter (Canadian) I have to say that Chobani has become a staple in our home. They need to sell it here in Canada though. Once a month we travel to Buffalo for shopping and my 12 year old son has “Chobani” written on the top of my list. I will have to look for chocolate next for him to try. Only he won’t let me cook with it “MOM!! That’s the best yogurt ever, it’s for eating straight from the container NOT in stuff!!!!!”

Sally August 14, 2012 at 7:34 am

Thank you for commenting, nonetheless Beth. That is SO cute about your son! I love it straight out of the container too! My favorite flavor is the black cherry. It is SO SO good, nothing is like it! :)

Terral August 14, 2012 at 10:55 am

I love Chobani Greek yogurt!! When I saw this I was ecstatic. There are many ways I use Chobani, but this is one of my latest favorites. It is so simple it’s silly. I take whole oats, sprinkle them with cinnamon, Splenda brown sugar and water – microwave until done. Then (here’s the best part) I take any Chobani flavor yogurt available and put it right on top. I also add chia seeds, and a few chopped raw walnuts. It’s such a great contrast of hot and cold. Good source of complex carbs, protein and omegas. (Sorry for the long post. Saying oatmeal with Chobani on top just wouldn’t do this justice.)

Sally August 14, 2012 at 11:53 am

My favorite way to eat Greek yogurt is to add a little sweetener and stick it in the freezer until it hardens a bit. It’s actually really good!

Chobani yogurt is the best. It has really helped our family rediscover and enjoy eating yogurt again. We always have some in the refrigerator. We use it as a topping for salads and turkey burgers, and also as a healthy snack. It would be great to win a set of flavors.
