*Giveaway has ended.* Winner is Lisa who said, “my favorite way to enjoy chobani is mixed with granola, almond butter, flaxseed, and bananas as a healthy powerbowl after a workout or for breakfast! i also enjoy baking with it for healthier alternatives to my favorite desserts.”

Chobani Greek Yogurt Giveaway!

I don’t know about you, but I am head over heels for greek yogurt!

Chobani is my go-to brand for yogurt and has been for years.  I eat it plain, with granola, throw it into smoothies, freeze it as frozen yogurt, and use it all the time in my recipes.

I’ve teamed up with my friends at Chobani to give my readers a chance to win a 12-pack case of assorted 6-oz cups.  There are SO many flavors that I adore and you will get one of each.

You won’t even need to go to the grocery store! Chobani will send a case straight to your doorstep.

chobani

Chobani has so many wonderful flavors from mango and pomegranate to blood orange and apple cinnamonThe other flavors you’ll receive are: Plain, Strawberry, Blueberry, Peach, Raspberry, Black Cherry, Pineapple, & Strawberry-Banana!

Chobani is the secret weapon in my recipes. Secret weapon?  Yep.  You read that correctly. I like to call my favorite protein-packed greek yogurt a “secret weapon” in my recipes.   It slashes calories and fat by replacing oil and butter and gives my baked (or not baked!) recipes a huge protein kick.

What do you think makes my White Chocolate Chip Mango Banana Bread so moist, soft, and full of mango flavor? Mango Chobani.

White Chocolate Mango Banana Bread

Apple Cinnamon Chobani is used instead of oil or butter in my low fat, whole wheat Sky High Apple Pie Muffins.

Here are a few other recipes using my favorite brand of greek yogurt:

Skinny Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl Cupcakes

Easy Homemade Funfetti Cupcakes

I honestly do not think there is a more perfect substitution for butter, oil, or full-fat sour cream in my baked goods than Chobani greek yogurt.  This yogurt is SO versatile.

This conversion chart often helps me out when I’m looking to healthify my recipes, both sweet and savory:

I love adding Truvia and Jello sugar free/fat free pudding mix to the plain yogurt and stirring it up so it’s like a custard! I love the cheesecake flavor and sometimes I add a bit of crushed graham cracker on the bottom and cherry pie filling on top and it’s JUST LIKE CHEESECAKE!

I love Chobani Greek Yogurt for many reasons and the one main reason is because I’m lactose intolerant! My love of dairy vs. the lack of digesting it makes it almost impossible until a friend introduced me to Chobani Greek Yogurt. I have it every morning, any flavor, with granola and whatever fruit I can find around the house. During the summers, I make my own smoothies with frozen berries, water/ice, plain Chobani Greek Yogurt and banana.

I pretty much just love it straight out of the container. Most yogurts have gelatin, so I can’t have them: Chobani has been my favorite for a while now. I heard someone earlier today saying they like to crumble a vitatop (or other muffin) right on top– I think THAT sounds spectacular.

Cory February 20, 2013 at 4:43 pm

Chobani is my go-to yogurt morning, mid-day and night. I like to kick off my day with a blueberry Chobani, with some fresh-cut fruit mixed in. There’s nothing quite like it to keep me full through lunchtime! I often will grab a Chobani for a mid-day snack, topping it with a sprinkle of granola, dry oats, or chopped nuts on top. And at night, I use Chobani in whipping up dinner, replacing sour cream or mayonnaise in my recipes with a nutrient- and protein-packed container of Chobani. Even for dessert, I can turn to Chobani, swirling a plain yogurt with a packet of hot chocolate mix and freezing it for a delicious late-night treat!

Megan S February 20, 2013 at 4:44 pm

I eat it all the time for breakfast … I layer the yogurt, add fresh berries and top with a granola!

There really is NO wrong way to enjoy chobani. You can add it to soups for creaminess, you can add it to batters as a fat replacement. You can put it in smoothies. I love just eating it with chopped fruit (any kind) and then SMOTHERED in WARM… CHUNKY… PEANUT BUTTER. Oh yeah, and just a hint of granola for extra crunch. There really is nothing better on the planet. :D

First my favorite pull from the fridge instant gratification is Chobani’s Black Cherry flavor… love it!

But I make a fabulous Greek yogurt Cheesecake using there plain Greek yogurt eggs pure almond flavor ( sometimes coconut) trivia instead of sugar and blend. I use a blend of rolled oats cinnamon and low fat vanilla wafers or low fat Graham crackers for the crust and applesause instead of butter to moisten the crust. Its sets just like real cheesecake and the coconut or almond extract gives it amazing flavor! Top with your favorite fruit or drizzle dark chocolate over the top …HEAVEN …for half the calories or less

Good luck all. Looks yummy.

I love love love Chobani strawberry banana flavor with homemade dark chocolate cherry Nutella granola from SBA for breakfast (or really anytime of the day)! Best flavor combo ever :)

Jackie February 21, 2013 at 10:50 pm

I LOVE enjoying cho for my afternoon snack with fresh berries & gronola or cereal sprinkled on top. Would LOVE to try some of the new flavors :)

I love eating Chobani Greek yogurt. I really enjoy the plain greek yogurt the best because it so easy to make your favor combo ( i like adding fresh kiwi and strawberries). I also enjoying baking with it. I made a batch of cookies with recently and the cookies came out with great favor and were really moist.

I love Chobani Greek Yogurt! My favorite is with the blueberries or vanilla sprinkled with granola. It’s wonderfully satisfying, practically indulgent!

Robin February 22, 2013 at 10:54 am

I adore all your skinny chocolate and peanut butter desserts! To die for. :) but I use plain Chobani as a sauce for homemade pizzas! I combine the Greek yogurt with some roasted red pepper hummus and presto! A delicious sauce!

I enjoy the versatility of the Lemon Chobani, it’s my go to breakfast mixed with fruit, especially blueberries or strawberries. Yummy. Looking forward to trying your suggestions on the sweet breads and muffins. I didn’t realize Chobani has such a variety of flavors, currently I know of perhaps a dozen different varieties.

I love Peach right out of the cup–yum!!

Emily February 22, 2013 at 11:45 am

Chobani is my saving grace in the afternoons at work! A couple hours after lunch and I need a yummy snack to make me feel full, I love grabbing a Chobani. The blueberry one tastes like blueberry pie and peach reminds me of summer – I can’t get enough of these!

Dani February 22, 2013 at 5:14 pm

For breakfast, I mix my Chobani with plain Fiber One instead of granola! You get more of it for less calories, and it makes it feel like an actual breakfast, since you can sit down and chew it. :)

I buy them for my husband’s lunches, and I love to use them instead of sour cream when I make twice-baked potatoes! I just started using it instead of oil in baking recipes–I used to sub in applesauce, but I like the protein of Chobani even more!

I always have a bowl with half Vanilla, half Plain Chobani in the mornings before school. Simple and delicious, as long as I get to the yogurts before my dad, we have a friendly competition going for that. ;)
