I just recently lost my job and am now a stay at home mom. While I wouldn’t have thought this was possible for us to handle financially, I’m learning to embrace it (I love reading blogs and finding new things to try when on a tight budget)! With this camera I would take pictures of someone very special…my daughter! Before I had my daughter my life wasn’t all cupcakes and because of her, I saw how precious and important life was…something that I had taken for granted in the past. Needless to say, she saved me in more ways than one! Because of her my life was changed in the best way possible! I started college and am now almost finished with my Bachelors, I got married, and we had a wonderful son…I would take pictures of home too

I’ve ALWAYS loved taking pics and am the one that takes pictures at all family events and vacations (when my Mother-In-Law passed away in Jan, I was the only one that had taken any pics at family events in the past year and was so happy that I had them to share with everyone). I’ve also always wanted to take photography lessons…. haven’t yet as I don’t have a decent enough camera to do so. Now that I’m out on LTD due to medical issues, I may need to find a new career path and I think photography would be a great option for me. Not to mention I can use the camera and skills to better photograph all of the wonderful desserts I bake and the craft items I make.

I just realized that I have slacked off taking pictures of me and my 2 children – I always used to take a ton but since I moved I hardly take any.. my camera’s flash doesn’t always work and it leaves these funny dots on the pictures sometimes. Very sad.

Hi sally! i like to bake a lot, too. and i’m 12. i bring my cakes to school for my friends to eat. i would take pictures of my stuff, really good pictures, and upload it onto my computer. because then i’d have a track of EVERYTHING i made.
there are cameras at home but they run out of battery after taking 5-10pictures, which is irritated.

I would take it with me everywhere and record memories for my family (because memories are important and I think we get too lost in the everyday busy-ness to commit things to memory). I have never had a nice camera so it would be exciting, and somewhat of an adventure, to be a photo-bug. While baking is a HUGE passion of mine, as I can tell it is one of yours, dance also has a special place in my heart. Being a dancer since the age of 2 (and still going!) as well as having a BA in Film/Media, I would use this camera to take photographs/videos of my peers and I performing in order to spread hope and love through the art of dance. I release a lot of stress and tension through dancing and baking, and having a camera as stunning as the Nikon would let me accomplish this even more!

I would use the camera to finally be able to follow my dream of being a photographer! Instagram just isn’t cutting it anymore. DSLR pictures come out more than AMAZING and they capture memories/scenes with so much more depth! I have a crazy photography bug (the kind that makes me want to stop the car on the side of the road to take a picture of the pretty sunset)
P.S. I’ve been raving about your recipes to everyone at work and all my friends. I’ve made so many of your recipes and they come out PERFECT. Everyone now thinks I’m some kind of amazing baker and my guilty conscious then has to introduce them to my BFF Sally aka your blog.
