Good morning!

Wonderful photos, Sally, and thanks for sharing. I made my dog and his pup friends heart shaped peanut butter treats for Valentine’s Day. I pinned it: http://pinterest.com/jaclynjeni/dog-treats/ –Shameless plug :P I found it on the Paula Deen website, and yes, 1 pound of butter is not needed for this recipe. Happy birthday, Jude!

Have a great day. Off for a run!

And your blog is beautiful, energy-infused and fun in every way! Not sure how you manage to keep the posts rolling out so frequently though. I struggle to complete one per week. Hugs x

I also appreciate being able to relate to someone like you… I think there’s a common misconception that highly successful blogs are run by people who either have heaps of time (and rich husbands!) or are getting enough money from advertising to make a job out of it. You’re definitely proof that it can happen through darn hard work, dedication and talent! Sending you a hug, you’re amazing xx

Happy Birthday to your pup! 5 is a great year! Our yellow lab loved these biscuits =)

Banana-Nut Biscuits
yields about 60 medium biscuits
3- 3 1/2 c coarse oat flour
1 1/4 c mashed ripe banana
1/4 c creamy natural peanut butter
1/4 c powdered milk
1 tsp baking soda
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line two half sheet pans with parchment or a Silpat baking mats.
In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon to form a stiff dough.
Turn the dough out on a lightly floured surface and roll to a 1/8-1/4″ thick, depending on biscuit size preference. Cut with medium biscuit cutter and place on prepared baking sheets.
Bake for 12 minutes, rotate trays, and bake another 12 minutes. Lower oven temp to 300 degrees and bake another 25 minutes, rotating trays halfway. Cool on racks and store in cookie jar!

http://healthyvittlesandbits.wordpress.com/2012/09/03/luna-gets-a-treat/
and then a few weeks ago I made “fiber-ful biscuits” for one of my parents dogs that recently had surgery – these ones are packed with pumpkin, oats, and wheat germ, so great for dogs with sensitive stomachs. Here is the link for that one:
