My cookbook “Sally’s Baking Addiction Cookbook: Irresistible Cupcakes, Cookies and Desserts for Your Sweet Tooth Fix” is currently available for pre-sale! And will be published on March 1st 2014. If you pre-order it now, you may even receive it in February.

To say I’m excited about this cookbook is an understatement. I’m not going to sugar-coat things. It was a monstrous job developing, testing, baking, styling, shooting, editing, and writing 75+ recipes behind the scenes. Keeping every recipe a secret has been hard!

More Cookbook Details

Grams. You asked me for it, so I’m doing it! Every single recipe is written with both cup measurements and gram measurements.

Photos. Every single recipe has a photo that I styled and shot. I have a bookshelf full of cookbooks and one of my pet peeves is reading a recipe and not seeing a picture to go along with it.

Easy. Every single recipe is just as uncomplicated, approachable, and unfussy as the goodies you know and love from my website.  They’re relatively quick and kid-friendly, too. Perfect for both novice AND experienced bakers.

Healthy. You don’t have to kiss your skinny jeans good-bye.  My longest chapter is my Healthy Choices section.  I love to revamp indulgent recipes to fit a healthier lifestyle.  I include vegan and gluten free goodies as well.

Learn. You’ll learn a few important baking techniques, shortcuts, and lessons. I grew up enjoying pies made from scratch and I’ll show you that homemade goodness is relatively simple.

Yum. You will also learn that s’mores shouldn’t only be enjoyed around a campfire.

Autograph Book Plate Giveaway

Last month, I asked you to save your receipt when you pre-ordered my cookbook. Don’t worry! If you have not pre-ordered my book yet, now is the time to do it. Go pre-order it, save your emailed receipt, and send it to me.

The first 100 people to email me his/her proof of purchase will receive a personally inscribed book plate to place inside the cookbook. It is basically a label that I will sign for you.

Follow these steps to enter:

  1. Pre-order my book from any of the listed online retailers. They all have different prices.
  2. Email me your (1) SBA Cookbook proof of purchase and (2) the address to which you’d like the book plate sent.
  3. If those two items are not included, you will not receive a book plate.

    You are awesome Sally! My wife loved the pumpkin muffins & coffee cake. Your recipes are so simple that even a guy baking in a convection toaster oven can pull them off! Here’s to seeing you on the Food Network with your own show! Go Ravens!

      I have a huge presence in the UK, so my publisher decided adding grams to each ingredient would be very helpful. It was tough to do all of that, trust me. I’m sure you can imagine. But thank you for all the support Averie!

    Congrats on your book! How exciting!! Will there be a digital version? I confess I’m doing those more these days. Hopefully if not in the beginning you will have one at some point for those of us who prefer a virtual bookshelf. And THANK YOU for the grams. I LOVE sites who do that instead of me doing the conversions. I really enjoy your site and look forward to more recipes here as well as your new cookbook.

    Sally, you are SO inspiring. Recipes without photos are one of my pet peeves too, and I’m really impressed that you added a shot AND a tip to every recipe. You are absolutely amazing! You’re right — March cannot get here fast enough for me!! :D

    I love the cover, Sally. It’s just beautiful. I’m sure the cookbook will be amazing. This would be a great gift for new brides, Christmas, or even at baby showers! (Mom should get something too!) I’m so happy for you.
