Let’s Review the March Baking Challenge
March 2017 Sally’s Baking Challenge Recipe: Chocolate Mousse Pie
March’s baking challenge was a chocolate pie. This was a more complicated recipe, so I was nervous that not as many would participate in March. Chocolate must be your love language (duh!) and I truly appreciated seeing so many of these pies on Instagram, Facebook, and all the pies coming through my inbox! You made some towering beauties with major height. I hope you learned a couple new skills or, if you’re already a seasoned pro, enjoyed the taste of the ultra creamy chocolate pie.
One of my favorite recipe reviews came from reader Jasmine:
“I made this today as a component of my birthday cake, and it tastes DELICIOUS!! I love how the chocolate flavor is blended together with the creaminess of the whipped cream, it is so airy and light. Thank you for the recipe!”
We gathered some chocolate mousse pie photo entries and included them below.
PS: Did you try the chocolate mousse pie? What did you think?
Hi Sally! I have been visiting your blog for a long time now, and have made several of your delicious recipes! I am excited for this challenge. I have been wanting to learn piping for awhile now. I needed an excuse to buy more supplies ! Also, where do you get the sprinkles like the ones pictured on the cake at the top of this post? I’ve wanted to get some for awhile. Thanks again!Â
Super stoked about Aprils challeng!!! I need to learn how to pipe better! Â Love the idea of mint extract in the Sky High Pie – would there be a way to add instant coffee to make it mocha!?!
I really like seeing all of the pie pictures. They all turned out different and look really good!
Absolutely beautiful!!
