Resources for Bloggers
Starting and maintaining a successful blog is hard work. At times, I felt very lost as I began my blogging journey. Below is a growing list of posts I have written on the subject – tips, tricks, and strategies I’ve used to get my blog to this point.
Whether you are a new, aspiring, or a veteran food blogger, I hope you can find something useful. If you have any questions or comments, be sure to let me know in the post!
Hosting Solutions:
I self-hosted my website through Bluehost for the first year of my blog’s life. Bluehost has the cheapest prices around and you can register your domain name for FREE. I paid $6.95 per month to host my site. The whole hosting-domain stuff can be quite confusing at first, but Bluehost will be more than happy to walk you through anything. I now use Servint for my hosting solution. Bluehost is a wonderful option to get started in the self-hosted scene. Once I reached 25K+ views per day, I had to make a switch to a larger server. Check out the Getting Started & Self Design post for more details about self-hosting.
