Sally’s Candy Addiction Cookbook is currently available for pre-sale! My 2nd cookbook will be published on September 15th. If you pre-order it now, you may even receive it before that date.

To say I’m excited about this cookbook is an understatement. It was a true labor of love not only writing this book, but developing the recipes, testing my limits, going above and beyond anything I’ve ever done, and similtaneously maintaining my blog through the process. But what may be the hardest is KEEPING THESE RECIPES A SECRET!

I’m dying for you to make all the candies. Like, now!

SCA Cookbook Recipe-4

Candy Addiction Recipes

This upcoming cookbook is an in-depth adventure into the very chocolate-y world of candy making. With over 75 tested and photographed recipes, how-to pages, tips, and all the fudge (there is an entire chapter of just… fudge) you could ever ask for– my candy cookbook is the perfect sequel to my baking cookbook.

There are over 75 completely new candy recipes; recipes that are not available on my blog.

Most candy recipes are cooked on the stovetop or require no cooking at all (yay!) but since I can never stray too far from my beloved oven, I included a chapter called Just Add Candy. This chapter is for all my fellow bake-aholics. It’s a chapter full of cookies, cakes, and cupcakes all prepared with candy. Think: Snickers Cheesecake, York Peppermint Patty Cupcakes, Andes Mint Chocolate Cream Pie, Toffee Lover’s Cupcakes, and Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream.

Read more about my upcoming cookbook in this post.

  1. If I won the stand mixer the first thing I would make is a double batch (yes I said double!) of your chocolate chunk cookies. HANDS DOWN the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever made/eaten!!

  2.  I would make chocolate cake… I love your recipe

  3. I would make a chocolate chips bars !!!  Yummy yummy

  4. If I were lucky enough to win; that would be so AWESOME because I’ve been eying this mixer for quite a long long time. As for what I’d make; hmmmm I would make just about everything that I can’t make now. I have an awesome recipe for New York Cheesecake that everyone loves but with a hand mixer just doesn’t do the job I’d like (but hey it works ok).. Then I’d make your yummy chocolate chip cookies.
Then I’d end up making quite a bit of all of your recipes. Thank you for offering this.. Wish me LUCK….

  5. This is so tough, but I think the first thing I would make would be orange rolls! Soft, gooey, and delicious. 🙂

  6. Hi Sally! If I won the stand mixer, I’d recruit my little one and make your Fun-Fetti Cake Mix Cookies with Mini Chocolate Chips ~ I’d also do my best to create a Tye-Dye layer Cake! <3

  7. The first thing I would do if I won the stand mixer is a the lemon blueberry layer cake recipe -but in cupcakes!- I just started my own home-based cupcake business and this recipe is one of my clients fave’s! Thank You for your baking addiction!!

  8. I have no idea what I would make first, but it would be chocolatey and delicious! 🙂

  9. If I won the KitchenAid stand mixer, I would make your White Wedding Cupcakes to celebrate my wedding on 9/20/2015!!

  10. If I won the mixer, I would go on a baking spree! The first thing I would make is my Aunt Louise’s Italian Cheesecake with a great chocolate marble twist to it! Then I’d make your Soft-baked Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Swirl Cookies. I tried these last summer and they are a family favorite!

  11. I’d make your Mocha Mint Chocolate Chunk Cookies.

  12. I would make your smore pie, looks amazing!

  13. I will most likely make fudgy brownies because I’ve been craving them. 😉

  14. It’s almost my goddaughter’s 2nd birthday so if I get the mixer, I’ll probably try one of your red velvet recipes and make a perfect frosting!

  15. I would make multiple batches of your chocolate chip cookie cake and your cake mix chocolate chip Oreo cookies with sprinkles :-). They are the two recipes most requested by friends and family!!!

  16. I am going to make your bakery style blueberry muffins!!

  17. I would have to make a German Chocolate Cake for my hunny!!

  18. I would love to make a made from scratch cake to the icing!

  19. Bread. I would try making bread dough with it.  Then biscuts  for my dog, because the last time I made them, they broke my hand mixer!

  20. Dog biscuits, because they broke my hand mixer as they were too thick

  21. The number one recipe on my FOO-DO list? My beloved late brothers cheesecake! It simply cannot be mixed with your average hand mixer.  I haven’t attempted it in several years – since the last mixer went off like the 4th of July when I added the 3rd pack of cream cheese. We settled for baked cheesecake battered bagels, lol!!

  22. I would make your oatmeal cookies – they’re my absolute favorite, and an everyday essential for this BFing mama!

  23. The first thing I would make with my new mixer would be a Deluxe Chocolate Cake: trying hard to replicate my grandma’s special cake, with only my father’s memories as a recipe!

  24. If I were to win the stand mixer, I would make a batch of the Cake Batter Chocolate Chip Cookies with sprinkles using the AMAZING recipe that you have! It’s my favorite cookie recipe!

  25. I would make cookies… So many cookies!!!

  26. I would make S’mores Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake again for the clambake in September. I made it for Memorial Day and everybody loved it! It was gone!

  27. If I won a new mixer, I’d make Joy the Baker’s brown butter chocolate chunk cookies! Yummmm

  28. Chocolate chip cookies of course!!

  29. wow if I were lucky enough to win
would have so much fun  making cupcakes
with my daughters all girl crafting club
that meets at our house once a month
would let the girls make and create all day long
what a blast they would have!!

  30. Probably a sheet cake, but they all look ao good, I can’t decide. I would buy some attachments and start fooling around with homemade pasta, which is something I have always wanted to do. My current stand mixer is the only one I’ve ever had and it is a hand-me-down from my mother-in-law. I’m pretty sure it is on its last leg. I use it all the time for muffins, cookies, cakes, whipped cream, frosting…maybe instead, I’d do the lemon blueberry cake. I’ve made it before and we all LOVED it. So many choices, it is hard to choose!
