Saturday again! Hallelujah, I’m at the beach this weekend. My first beach trip all summer. Where did this summer go. I mean, it’s mid-August all of a sudden?!
I just, can’t.
However, with September around the corner you know that means Sally’s Candy Addiction is almost here! I have butterflies in my stomach. I’m anxiously awaiting my advanced copy in the mail. Seriously loaded with goodies. This is my very favorite oatmeal cookie recipe. One of them at least! Soft, chewy, room for plenty of add-ins like butterscotch and peanut butter M&Ms. I make this cookie recipe a lot when I visit friends or family for the weekend– it’s a crowd pleaser.

Hoping you’ve tried my glazed orange poppy seed bars by now. They’re like a cross between a blondie and a piece of cake. Oh, and they’re topped with a donut-style glaze of sorts. (!!!)
