March Baking Challenge

Lemon bars

March 2019 Baking Challenge: Lemon Bars

January was all about yeast, February was all about chocolate, and March will be all about springtime! This month I’m showing you how to make classic lemon bars, a seemingly easy recipe where many things could go wrong. Under-baked, over-baked, too sweet, too tangy, etc. My perfected recipe was published in Sally’s Baking Addiction cookbook, but tomorrow’s recipe includes 1 small update. Stay tuned!

And if you don’t like lemon, I have another citrus variation. ๐Ÿ™‚

Everyone who participates in the March Baking Challenge is automatically entered. See below for How to Join Sally’s Baking Challenge. My assistants and I keep track of your photos and randomly select a winner at the end of the month.ย This giveaway is open to the whole world. Giveaway ends on March 31st 2019.

1 winner will receive:ย $250 Amazon Gift Card.ย A winner will be selected at random and posted in the April Baking Challenge blog post on April 1st 2019.

Let’s Review the February Baking Challenge

February Baking Challenge: Homemade Chocolate Truffles

The amount of participation in the February 2019 Sally’s Baking Challenge illustrates the power of chocolate. This dearly loved flavor was enjoyed by hundreds as you prepared your own homemade truffles. We saw most of the participation Valentine’s Day week, but over 100 of you made them ON THE FIRST DAY! Thank you so much for joining me in February and leaving your reviews on the recipe.

By the way, there were some creative chocolate truffle toppings we saw this month include crushed white cheddar cheez-its, freeze-dried strawberries, potato chips! We gathered as many chocolate truffles photo entries as we could and include them below. (Email is the best way to guarantee your photo will be included!)

Giveaway winner for February is Kelly and she has been notified. ๐Ÿ™‚
