  17. The lemon cookies in the bonus PDF are AMAZING! Light, fluffy and a perfect sweet to lemon balance. I can’t stop eating them. I don’t know if it’s the cream cheese in the batter (I haven’t tried any of your cream cheese cookies yet) but there is something so special about these. I am even more excited for the cookbook.   18. If anyone is still wondering whether it is worth to pre-order: It Is! I can highly recommend the additional five recipes.
    The thick chocolate chip cookies you see on the pic are in the oven as we speak and do look veeery promising. Moreover, if you are in a metric country like me, I also like that Sally converted everything, including how far away of each other you should place the cookies in this cookbook. One of the previous cookbooks (Sally’s Baking Addiction) was not as thorough with the conversions. The lemon cookies are next on my list! Thanks Sally, very excited for September!

  19. I already received the 5 bonus recipes and can’t wait to try them!! Just wonderig, I did notice that you didn’t include any kind of  intro or kind of background story to the recipes – which you always do! Because looking through the ingredients for the chocolate chip cookies I was intrigued by why you left out an ingredient you always used in your previous recipes and why the dough didn’t need a longer chilling time. 
    Anyways, I know the cookies will be as delicious as always ❤️ 

    1. Purely recipes + pictures, no intros included. I didn’t find it necessary as it’s an extension of my cookbook– where you’ll have allllll the background info you need!
      And that cookie dough is suuuuuper sturdy and thick, so no reason to chill it longer 🙂

    First, let me say congrats on your new cookbook and your pregnancy. I hope you are feeling great!

    I was so excited to get the PDF of the bonus cookies and I had a question about the coconut toffee oatmeal ones. I measured all the ingredients on a scale and chilled them overnight, taking them out 1/2 hr before baking. The 56 g ball seemed too large so I only did 40g. They spread quite a bit and were much thinner than I expected. They did not look like the picture. They tasted great but looked a lot different. Any ideas as to what I might have done wrong?
    Thanks for your help…making funfetti cupcakes for work peeps tomorrow.

    1. Hey Sheri! Was your butter too soft? That would be my only guess- make sure you’re using room temperature butter. It’s still quite solid, but not slippery or melty in the slightest. You can also add 2 extra tbsp flour next time. That should help.

      1. That must be it. I remember noticing that it seems a lot softer than it usually is when I leave it out for room temperature. Not sure why since our kitchen/house runs on the cool side but that is it for sure. I will make them again since even though they are very flat, everyone loves them. Thanks for your help!
        BTW the funfetti cupcakes were a HUGE hit at my former workplace (I just retired in April)
