For Sally’s Baking Addiction 200th post, I’d like to direct the attention to my readers. A post dedicated to everyone and anyone who has stopped by to say hello on my little internet space.
Every now and then, you email, tweet, message, or post photos of my recipes that you have made yourself. I can’t tell you how HAPPY it makes me to see that my recipes are being made by you! It’s truly the reason why I love having a website and blogging so much - to share my love for baking with others. The thought of my recipes being made across the world is incredible.
Earlier this month, I began drafting a post dedicated to all of my readers. A huge THANK YOU for all of the support, encouragement, and inspiration. I feel very fortunate to be doing something I love and connecting with so many others. You send me clever recipe ideas and touching stories about how you made & loved them.
I asked you for more photos and permission to use your first names, so I could show them off to the world. You filled up my facebook message box, twitter, and email. It was wonderful to connect with all of you. MANY thanks for everything.

A very, very big THANK YOU to everyone who has written to me, sent me their recipe masterpieces, commented, given feedback, tweeted, connected with me on instagram, or commended my recipes and/or my photography. It has been a triumphant year for SBA: friendships made, lots of hurdles to jump over, lots of photography lessons to learn, technical glitches, time management, baking disasters to rise above, etc.
I could not have done ANY of it without you, my readers. Thank you for absolutely everything!

On another note, I was wondering what is the difference (taste and texture wise) between the confetti cake batter cookies (with cake mix) and the chocolate chip cake batter cookies?
Hi Megan! The Cake Batter Chocolate Chip Cookies are like chocolate chip cookies with a cake batter taste. They are made with some cake mix, but all of the other ingredients are typical chocolate chip cookie ingredients. The Confetti Cake Batter Chocolate Chip Cookies are made form an entire box of cake mix, oil, and baking powder. They are VERY soft and cakey and do not taste like chocolate chip cookies like the first ones do. Thank you for asking!

Sally I LOVE THIS POST!!! And the idea!!! About 3.5 years ago I once called for reader submissions of anyone who had ever made anything of mine. It was in the early days of my blog and I had maybe 30 people send things in and then I don’t know what happened, but I never blogged about it and am kicking myself now. You will CHERISH this post, even more..in 3 years! And your readers are amazing.
I loved seeing that a male reader/Mark made all that – proving your goodies have universal appeal. And of course, seeing some of the cookies and goodies reminded me what faves of yours I want to make. And seeing how your recipes look on your blog and then how they look coming out of someone else’s oven is pretty awesome.
