I’m thrilled to share my new project with you. ๐Ÿ™‚

How to Bake a Perfect Cake Email Series

Let’s talk about this. So, one of my goals for Sally’s Baking Addiction is to condense, concise, and update the older content on my blog. This includes adding extra success tips, new photos, video tutorials, and streamlined recipe directions to all of my existing recipes. It’s been quite the project! Included in this goal is to present more helpful information to you, like overall baking tips, baking with yeast tips, cake baking tips, and more.

Today I’m presenting you with a Cake Baking Email Course. This isn’t actually my first email course. I launched a Baking Made Easy email course earlier this year. But now we’re specifically focusing on cakes. This 5 day email series includes:

  1. never-before-published cake success tips
  2. in-depth tutorials
  3. how to freeze cakes guide
  4. my 2 favorite basic cake recipes
  5. mix-and-match cake & frosting recipes

What’s The Process?

After signing up, youโ€™ll receive 1 email per day for 5 days. After that, Iโ€™ll send you 1 email per week with popular recipes as I update them with recipe notes and easier instructions. If you’re already on my email list, you won’t receive these emails unless you sign up using the form below. This series is in addition to what I regularly send out to you!

This is a completely free email series. All thatโ€™s happening is me showing up in your inbox. You donโ€™t need to do anythingโ€“ no homeworkโ€“ just read, learn, and get excited to apply some of the cake success tips in your own kitchen. You can unsubscribe at any time.

(Honestly there are no gimmicks or sponsorships or anything like that. This is just something FUN and USEFUL I created in addition to the regular recipes you see on my blog.)

  1. Hi Sally I still use your recipes from 6-7 years ago. Like today I made your Snickers magic bars (do you remember that recipe of yours?!!). Super delish and it was so rich! I’m so excited about your updates on your old gems.
i love your photography. The last couple of years you have really skyrocketed with quality of your pics. But do you know I still like those old posts where you take pics of your ingredients on your counter. There’s a special charm in your ‘old’ blogging days. And those posts had a different style of photography which was amazing too. Please don’t update everything. I like going back to the beginning of your blog too.

    1. Thanks so much, Iram! I love looking back at how my content has changed and grown. I definitely won’t be updating everything because it’s nice to see the journey. Thank you for always taking the time to say hi and give your wonderful thoughts on my posts and recipes!

      1. So happy you’ll be signing up for this email series, Erin! YAY! And thank you so much- loving this apron!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. I, too, have made many of your recipes from your website! Thank you for sharing them with us.
I bake for birthdays at work, when someone retires or moves on or to welcome them. Since I will be retiring soon, my coworkers will miss me and my baking efforts most of all.
I look forward to each of your recipes. Keep โ€˜em coming!

    1. So sweet, Linda! What a wonderful tradition you have at work ๐Ÿ™‚ Congratulations (early!) on your retirement- thrilled for you!

  5. Looking forward to more of your tips and recipes. I made the vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with the chocolate buttercream icing for a Senior Luncheon and they were a big hit. Even was ask to make the vanilla cupcakes for someone to take to a party this weekend.

  13. SO, SO excited for this! It’s such a great idea and so thoughtful of you! I’ve been obsessed with your cake recipes for so long, and your blog has been so helpful for me as I learned how to bake!

  14. Sally, you look so pretty in your floral apron with your pretty blue eyes! Thanks for all the great recipes and your interesting and easy to follow blog. Hope Jude is better.

  15. I really love your recipes. I wish I had known before. Love the apron too. How do you stay so trim with all this baking! Looking forward to new series.

  16. What a great series this will be. Your cake recipes are absolute, never fails for me! If I am ever needing to make a cake for a special occasion, I just come here and find one that looks good and I know it will be a hit every time. My favorites are the Best Banana Cake Ever (which it is), the yellow sheet cake with chocolate frosting (my co-workers always request this for their birthday) and the Blueberry Bread and Zucchini bread with aren’t really cakes but could be! I baked up the blueberry bread when we were heading to the mountains with some friends for vacation and I wanted to have something already done for breakfast. We ate on it for a couple of days and they absolutely loved it and wanted more! Its wonderful to have a blog site that you can really trust the recipes and don’t have to worry with thoughts of: “I hope this turns out, gee I hope it will be as good as it looks”, because they ALWAYS turn out and they are usually BETTER than I think they will be! You are doing such a great job, Sally! I just wish I could come be one of your assistants– you wouldn’t even have to pay me! (But since my husband wouldn’t be too keen on me moving up north, I don’t think that can happen, but I can dream!)

    1. Thank you so much for your excitement about this new email series, Lisa! It was so much fun to create and I’m thrilled to share what I have learned with my readers ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m so happy that you’ve had great success with many of my recipes- isn’t the banana cake SO GOOD?! ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy baking!

  17. Please do some baking for gluten-free baked goods. King Arthur is the best I can find and the best flour. I used to make my own and then found King Arthur. Please reply as there are many of us.
