Ridiculous Amounts of Fall Fun

Fall days. | Sally's Baking Addiction

October already!

Do you go apple picking or to the pumpkin patch every year? I’m still a 10 year old girl at heart because both make me ridiculously happy. Wait until I have children. ALL the fall fun in the world!

If you live in the Philadelphia area, Linvilla Orchards is a MUST in the Fall season. Visiting this spot has quickly become a tradition: apple picking, pumpkin picking, mums, shopping, apple cider donuts!

Linvilla has a place called Pumpkinland (so cute), freshly baked pies every single day, hayrides, gigantic honeycrisp apples, and face painting. I have not participated in the last one. Or have I?

I went a couple weeks ago with my friend Amy and her kids. It was the quintessential Fall day, not to mention completely and utterly gorgeous outside.

  1. These photos are amazing, just beautiful!! I absolutely love fall, it’s my favorite time of the year. Right now I’m counting down to one of my favorite seasonal pastimes – the fall market at one of our local churches. It’s two days of crafts, decorations, and baked goods – I look forward to it every year. Very hard to have self control in those things, but can you really ever have too many holiday decorations??

  2. I love apple-picking! That’s what i’ll be doing today. Your pictures, as always, are stunning!

  3. Seriously the most beautiful pics. . Went on your blog today for some Fall inspiration. Making honey crisp sangria for tonight by the fire (Connecticut girl) and apple pancakes for this morning. Enjoy your weekend ✏️ and thank you for making everyday life easier and so much more fun. .

  4. I am so jealous!!!  Fall is my absolute favorite time of year, but living in the Houston area, we just don’t get a true fall 🙁

  5. I love Linvilla!  My friend and I were supposed to go today but… Joaquin.  I’m hoping to go next weekend instead if the weather cooperates.  I get my apples there every year!

  6. We do apple and pumpkin picking.  Last week we were Upstate and we stopped by a little pumpkin patch where we got pumpkins so big I couldn’t even carry them!  Next week we’ll be stopping by the apple orchard to get our apple/donut/cider on.

  7. Apple picking is on my list this month! I love your photo posts. The picture of the leaves against the blue sky is beautiful.

  8. I LOVE apple picking!!! all these pictures just make me feel so happy! the fall leafs, the colorful corn cobbs! the colors all the oranges and reds 😉 are absolutely gorgeous this time of year!!!

  9. We are coming into spring now and even though I am super excited about summer, this post has made me all sorts of excited for fall/autumn next year!!

  10. Sally,

You clearly love pumpkins. Have you considered a pumpkin chocolate chip brownie recipe? Your pumpkin mini muffins, cheesecake crumb muffins, truffles, etc are all incredible. I know you would do something amazing with the pumpkin brownie!

Thank you for all your great recipes!

    1. Hmm.. a pumpkin chocolate chip brownie. I haven’t tried anything like that! Sounds like it would be incredible. Thanks for the suggestion, Angie!
