Ugh! I spent over an hour the other night deciding this year’s cookie round up. Now that I’m seeing even more options presented in such a handy list, I’m not as sure if I made the right choices. Meanwhile, my husband told me yesterday that he heard a commercial about people who suffer from FOBO (fear of better options) and said he thinks I have that affliction. I was all, “What? Meeeee???” But now I’m just cracking up because, well, yeah… But COOKIES.

I’m sad your cookie palooza has ended, but I now have more recipes bookmarked than I can get around to making this Christmas!  Thank you Sally!  I made your Peppermint Mocha Cookies with a mixture of white and dark chocolate chips, then sandwiched marshmallows between them as in your Peeps sandwich cookie recipe.  They turned out SO BOMB!

  9. Lesley on December 10, 2016 at 7:23 pm

A brunch question Sally- what protein brunch dish would you suggest to go along with your amazing French Toast with blueberries? Thanks, Lesley

  10. Sharon K (The Farm Chick Bakes) on December 10, 2016 at 7:27 pm

You have totally inspired me this year Sally! Tomorrow I was hoping to start baking right at 6am, however, now I’m showing my house (as you know we’re moving to Raystown Lake) to a family for the 2nd time so I can’t even begin my flour explosion until they leave! The good news is I’m so excited because I’ve narrowed down my cookies to 10 recipes….4 of which are yours! This is my SBA round up for Christmas 2016: Maple Cinnamon Stars, Toasted Hazlenut Slice n’ Bake w/Milk Chocolate, Classic Peanut Butter Blossoms and your Brown Butter Sugar Cookies. Please tell me your new book will have a ‘Chapter’ dedicated to your Cookie Palooza? Once I’m done that I begin my candy…something that’s my trademark to family and friends for over a decade. This year I’m adding in your salted Caramels. I can’t wait to get started! Thanks, as always Sally, for your inspiration to try new recipes each Christmas!
